Who we are

Arch Angel Agency LLC (“Archangel Agency”), a United States company, runs this site. Contact: contact@archangel.agency.

What this notice covers

The request form on requests.archangel.agency and the information you give in it.

What we collect

• What you enter in the form: your name, your organization and role, a client’s name if you represent one, how to reply to you (an email address or a Signal contact), what the request is about, the decision it supports, timing, a budget range, organizations involved, and your answers to the legal questions.
• Details of the request itself: its reference, the date it arrived, its status, when and why it was closed, its approximate size, and a note from our spam checks.
• Our host, Vercel, keeps request logs, including IP addresses. The logs available to us are deleted after a day at most.
• To limit abuse, we count the requests from each network under a keyed hash that changes every day. We delete the counts the next day.

This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking.

You do not have to give us this information. Without the answers the form asks for, we cannot consider a request.

Why we use it

• To consider your request and reply to you.
• To check for conflicts of interest.
• To comply with the laws that apply to us, such as sanctions law.

Legal basis, for people in the UK or the European Economic Area

• Taking steps at your request before a possible contract.
• Our legitimate interests in assessing requests, protecting our work, and complying with the laws that apply to us, including US sanctions law.

Who receives it

These providers process it for us:

• Vercel Inc., hosting, in the United States.
• Neon, database hosting, in the United States.
• DreamHost, email, in the United States, if we email you.

With JavaScript on, your answers are encrypted in your browser, and these providers cannot read them. Without JavaScript, they pass through our code on Vercel’s servers unencrypted for a moment while they are encrypted.

We share information about a request with our lawyers and professional advisers when we need their advice, and with authorities when the law requires it. We do not sell it or use it for marketing.

Where it is kept

We are in the United States, and your information is stored and processed there. If you are outside the United States, it leaves your country when you send a request.

How long we keep it

We close every request within 180 days of receiving it, unless it becomes an engagement.

Closed requests are deleted 90 days after they close. After that, encrypted copies can remain in our database provider's backups for up to 30 days.

We keep a request longer only when the law requires it, for example because of a legal claim.

If a request becomes an engagement, its records are kept for as long as the engagement and legal record-keeping require.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information you gave us, to limit how we use it, or to get a copy of it to take elsewhere. You can also object to how we use it. Email contact@archangel.agency and quote your reference. We may need to confirm that the request is yours. We delete a request early if you ask, unless the law requires us to keep it.

You can complain to us at the same address. We acknowledge a complaint within 30 days. If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, you can also complain to your data protection authority. In the UK, that is the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Automated decisions

The form stops some requests before they are sent, based on your own answers. Nothing you send is decided automatically, and this site does not send requests to AI services.

Changes

If this notice changes, the version date above changes. Each request records the version that was in force when it was sent.
