How urgent is it?

Only if the request is time-sensitive. It must be on or before the decision date, if you gave one.

Names only, so we can check for conflicts of interest. Include any organization whose interests the work could affect. Up to 500 characters.

Step 6 of 7Legal questions

We ask every request these questions. They help us meet our legal obligations before we take on any work.

Will the result be used in decisions about someone's employment, housing, credit, insurance, government benefits or a license?

Employment includes hiring, promotion and discipline, and work as a contractor or volunteer.

Are you, your organization, the client, anyone paying for the work, or anyone who will benefit from it located in, or controlled from, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, or the Crimea, Donetsk or Luhansk regions of Ukraine?
Is a foreign government, government agency or official, political party, sovereign wealth fund or state-owned company involved in the request?

For example as the client, a funder or a beneficiary, or by directing the work. If yes or not sure, we review the request for legal requirements before we can accept it.

Will the result be published, given to the media, or used to influence officials or public opinion?
